 Kingfisher
With time and patience, life like images can be produced in Illustrator like this New Zealand Kingfisher.
I stopped short of making the image too life like leaving defining Illustrative features but I could have continued to produce a near 'Photo Image' sample if required.
This image has 66 Mesh Objects and 38 paths.
No Gradients were used.
 Spraygun
Vector Art is excellent for mechanical illustration with smooth bending tones, crisp edges and gradients shown here on this spraygun.
This Spray gun was created using Paths, Mesh Tool, and Gradient Tool.
 Barracuda
Effective Illustrative Logos can be created in Vector Art like our Barracuda Logo.
Once artwork is completed major compositional alterations of up to 25 - 30% can be easily made without distortion.
Great for fast editing of the finished artwork if need be.
This image has 25 Mesh Objects, seven Paths and two Gradients.
 Chief's Head
This 'Craggy' Indian Cheif's head was created with extensive use of the Mesh tool.
The image was sent to me as a pencil sketch to be refined and converted into a Vector Illustration.
The Layout in the Layers Pallet comprised of only seven different layers but has 169 separate Mesh objects and 87 paths. The Gradient Tool was used only once.
 Norton Motor
This Norton motor cycle engine as drawn for the use of screen printing.
Again, life like illustrations can be produced in Vector to very fine detail.
This illustration was completed in 27 hours with extensive use of the Mesh Tool.
 Scorpion
This Scorpion was drawn then produced in Vector for a Security company.
It was drawn in 'chrome' and in the defensive pose to emulate the companies image.
It took 17 hours to complete including sourcing images, concept drawings of different postures etc to the finished artwork.
 Chopper
This illustration was designed and drawn in Vector for a company specializing in Chopper Tours.
Despite the images small size for this website, it has much fine detail and took the most time of any illustration to complete so far.
 Sheep
This Sheep illustration was sent to us to be drawn in Vector by Lisa from Polygon Design here in Auckland New Zealand.
It took seven hours to modify slightly and draw in Vector.
